Wellbeing for Women
Our hormonal cycles and hormones shift throughout our lives. This might be due to natural fluctuations, medication, medical conditions, or events like pregnancy and childbirth. In the latter years of maturity, changing hormones can quietly (and not so quietly) affect our mood, confidence, focus, sleep, and emotional resilience, as well as causing physical pain.
Many women are used to holding everything together, managing work, family, relationships, and daily life without pause. When coping suddenly feels harder, it is easy to turn inward with blame and self-criticism, assuming something is wrong with you. It is not. Support can help calm the inner noise, release unhelpful patterns, and restore clarity and confidence during a time of significant change.
If you think of cramps, mood swings, brain fog, hot flushes, increased anxiety, all as messages to let you know that something is about to happen or has changed, then you can say “thanks, subconscious, message heard and understood, any required action taken – message no longer helpful”. We can ask the subconscious to stop sending those messages or symptoms.

Sally Howard Therapy is all about helping people improve their quality of life. Looking after your present, making it the best it possibly can be, will have the knock-on effect of looking after your future. Over the past ten years, my business has transformed from fluffy blanket hypnotherapy to a non-hypnosis therapy that still directly engages the subconscious mind in a keep it simple, keep it logical, get results, kind of way. I believe this is more powerful than hypnotherapy because you are consciously involved in the process. On occasion I will reinforce sessions with a hypnotherapy recording to be listened to at home. Whatever the problem a client brings, I always check in with their self-worth, as I have learned through clients, and personally, how low self-worth can restrict and hold a person back. Building the conscious desire to change, and the techniques that I use, continue to prove how lifechanging my sessions can be. Believing that you really deserve to be happy is a good first step. Clients can achieve the desired results in a single session, while others may require three or four sessions depending on the issues to be addressed.
I absolutely love what I do, seeing the release, that smile on a person’s face when they realise that they are free at last from what was holding them back or causing their anxiety. This can be like flinging all the doors and windows wide open and letting the colour and light back into your life!

Qualifications
Originally qualifying with an AIM Awards Level 3 Certificate in Hypnotherapy and Counselling Skills (QCF). I have improved and developed my skills with Continual Professional Development (CPD) courses and training in new techniques. These have included working directly with trauma using EMDR and AutoREM®, Hypno-Gastric Band, Mindfulness, the Brain and Therapy, KG Hypnobirthing Teacher Training, OldPain2Go® which I believe is a fantastic and adaptable methodology and OldFat2Go®.
I am a member of the National Hypnotherapy Society (Membership No. HYP15-02188), which is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority, and I abide by their code of practice and ethics, which includes CPD and supervision. I am also a member of The Hypnotherapy Directory and OldPain2Go® Certified Practitioners Listing.
