Stop Chronic Pain

I had no idea how life changing OldPain2Go® was going to be for me and for my clients when I contacted Steven Blake to train as an OldPain2Go® practitioner!

Physical and Emotional Pain

We’ve always been told that pain is a sign that something is wrong and needs our attention. But did you know this isn’t always the case? Sometimes, pain can remain long after it’s no longer beneficial. Living with long-term pain affects our ability to work, enjoy our hobbies, and ultimately our quality of life. Luckily, there is a solution. OldPain2Go® can provide a safe and effective way to regain control of old, lingering pain messages.

If you think about anxiety, fears and any unhelpful reactions you can think of them as emotional pain and this is how OldPain2Go® has evolved into all areas of my work. In freeing you from the pain, anxiety and emotional stress that is holding you back from living your best life – You’re Awesome!

Client Testimonial

I wasn’t sure what to expect when Sally suggested using the OldPain2Go® technique to help with the arthritis pain in my thumbs. However, Sally explained everything very clearly to me and after she had used the technique, I was amazed to find that the pain had gone!

Do you qualify for OldPain2Go® help?

  • You must have been diagnosed by a medical professional and they have prescribed or suggested pain control.
  • You must want to be pain-free and have no great advantage in keeping the pain.
  • You must be willing to cease doing whatever is causing the problem.
  • You have to be willing to put into practice any aftercare advice.
  • After the session, seek your medical professionals’ advice on any issues regarding medication and ongoing diagnosis.

The experience was so profound it’s hard to explain on paper what happened, but suddenly the pain stopped in my knee, and it has so far not returned.

Physical Pain

Steven Blake’s OldPain2Go® methodology is a chronic pain release therapy, an innovative, effective, and practical approach that helps individuals release long-term pain, predominantly within a single focused session.

Thanks to advances in neuroscience, we now have a clearer understanding that pain is not simply a direct measure of injury, but the brain’s interpretation of signals it perceives as potentially harmful.

Pain is a message, a call to action. All pain is real, even though it isn’t made where it appears to be. Pain is manufactured in the brain and sent to the affected area to get you to take action. It is a carefully calculated message, and the brain will adjust the volume to increase the pain message to be relevant to the degree of damage. The right pain message will get you to take the right action to enable healing to start, and after an appropriate time, the pain should go – even before you are fully healed.

Pain can remain long after it is no longer of any benefit. If you have been in pain for longer than 3 months it is likely to be of no use to you – in fact, your medical professional is likely to have suggested or prescribed pain-killing medication. Persistent, old, chronic pain is your own internal defence mechanism deciding that it is still beneficial. It will have a sound, logical reason for doing so even though this may not be obvious. It is my job to find that reason with you and to help you negotiate with that part of you and persuade it that it is doing more harm than good. You see, whilst you hold on to old pain it may get in the way of you noticing new pain at a lower level than your current pain. New Pain is a good idea! If we didn’t have the ability to feel pain we would cause terrible injuries to ourselves and be unaware of escalating damage.

You have even helped me with my sleep and pain in my legs, and so much more. I will never forget the things you taught me. Thank you.

Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia and Pain Related Illnesses

These conditions are serious and should be treated as such. For far too long these have been unexplainable and therefore patients were not treated with the respect and dignity they deserved (and the same has applied to cases of Chronic Pain).

The pain and fatigue is real and serves an important service as part of a protective survival system. This does not mean you have to have it for the rest of your life, once you understand the important message behind the condition you no longer need the message, as the danger of being hurt ceases, so does the condition.

I would in all sincerity urge anyone, however sceptical, if you are experiencing any such problems or relevant conditions give Sally a call it could change your life, what have you got to lose?

Allergies and More Overreaction

Hay fever – If you have hay fever and I don’t and we are breathing the same air, then it is not the pollen’s fault, it is your overreaction that causes a problem. Often there is an emotional, protective reason for the overreaction. We can address this and then we can ask the subconscious to stop the unhelpful overreaction.

Pets – A person who grew up with dogs and had lived with dogs most of her life, after suffering a traumatic dog related event suddenly became allergic to dogs – eye irritation and spots on the inside of her eyelids. The anti-allergy pills suggested by her optician did the trick for 18 months, the discomfort only returning when she forgot to take the pills – that was me! After training in OldPain2Go® I thanked my subconscious for “protecting me” in this way and asked it to stop the ”Old” reaction to dogs, stopped taking the pills and all has been good since.

Food – I had a client who believed they were allergic to certain foods – fruit and raw vegetables. After I had helped them with what they came to me with I asked if we could look at the “allergic reaction” which caused a zingy sensation in the mouth and a tightness in the throat and an alarming skin reaction like scabby eczema if rubbed on the arm All stemming from choking on finger food as a baby (the client knew of but couldn’t remember the event) which must have been traumatic at the time, not being able to breathe and watching the fear and panic in their primary carers. Then reenforced by “watch out” and “mind they don’t choke” going forward. The subconscious had created the reactions to protect them from the “dangerous foods”. An “old” protective program that was no longer helpful as they were now an adult with teeth and knew how to chew food before swallowing! It was amazing to see the new freedom when this old protective reaction had gone and we tested it at the end of the session – I love that smile!

Misophonia or Selective Sound Sensitivity Syndrome

Are there sounds that instantly cause you to feel intense anxiety, anger or disgust?

Being hypersensitive (or overreactive) to certain noises can be distracting and for some and can cause avoidance, restricting a person’s quality of life. Some people are only sensitive to one thing, and another could have many triggers, such as hearing another person chewing food, breathing, clicking a pen, finger tapping, water dripping, a barking dog.

One client referred to their sensory defensiveness as almost continuous as they struggled with repetitive sounds of dripping, tapping or barking, also repetitive movements such as a jigging foot or light flickering and some textures like woollen and corduroy items. They were very pleased to learn that this was something we could stop and later wrote …

“Sally is incredibly kind and caring. She goes over and above what I expected, she took a real interest in improving my life and even followed up. Unlike other therapists she only does the necessary amount of sessions and suggest a specific number of sessions which she stuck to. Thank you for all you did. My life has been changed for the better.”

My dog allergy was gone in one session. No more pills and my eyes still felt good.
